Dear Son #2,
Wow! I can’t believe you are officially one. One! The possibilities are endless and soon you’ll be asking for the car keys (I’ll save you the trouble – No.), going out with girls (see car keys answer), and stealing our beer (Hahaha good luck with that). Most of time when a little boy turns one, his mommy focuses on the things they do. Well you can do tons of things and that doesn’t make for an interesting letter so here’s a list of the things you don’t do.
You don’t complain when your brother rides you like a “orsie” or uses you like a stepping stool.
You don’t stay still for one second while I change your diaper.
You don’t kiss with your mouth closed.
You don’t turn down kiss/hug requests.
You don’t go to bed without a fight (and a snuggle).
You don’t ever say no to bath time.
You don’t think sticking your hands in the toilet is nasty.
You don’t miss a meal.
You don’t hide your feelings of anger, joy, excitement, or crankiness.
You don’t have a problem eating sand, rocks, sidewalk chalk, or things found in puddles.
You don’t concern yourself too much with personal hygiene.
You don’t give up, even when you fall on your face, again and again and again.
You don’t think you’re too old for snuggles with your mommy yet.
I can’t wait to see what the next year brings for things you don’t do.
Like my posts? Yay! I’m so glad. Please follow/like/share this blog and spread the love and, hopefully, the laughter!
