Dear Son #1 & #2,
It takes a very brave and dedicated Mom to attempt Walmart portraits with a baby and a toddler, I hope you know this. Maybe it’s because there was a $25 special on or because I just want one photo of you two – smiling and booger free – or because portrait photos are just So. Darn. Cute. Either way, I’ll be impressed if Walmart doesn’t have our photo up on display with a big DO NOT SERVE THIS FAMILY written on it. I can’t say I’d blame them.
Not to pick on you, Son #1, but really? Was it really necessary to scream and cry when we wanted you to sit next to your brother for 10 minutes with a smile on your face? Must you be that dramatic?
And once it was over, would it have killed you just to play with the toys for 3 minutes while I picked the photo? Did you really have to switch off the computer and server system to the whole portrait studio?
And why, oh why, did you leave the Happy Meal toy under the table? When we were already at the car?
Now don’t look all smug there Son #2, you pulled off one of your Maple Leaf socks which is forever lost in the depths of Walmart. That is probably why they lost last night.
You two are pretty cute though.
Love Mommy,
xox
Like my posts? Yay! I’m so glad. Please follow/like/share this blog and spread the love and, hopefully, the laughter!
Sounds like a great adventure…however just, FYI, as they get older there will still be crying not wanting to sit beside each other, the computer will break on its own and in January it will be a fight to have socks on either one of them. Just Sayn! The toy really shouldn’t be a surprise even when they are old and grey they pout and cry that they have to leave something behind in the store.
This might actually be the best experience you may ever have.
Love your Blog !
