Dear Son,
Today marks the last day before I go back to work and soon you will be terrorizing your Oma during the week. But don’t cry, even though I probably will on the drive to work tomorrow morning. I’ll still be around to change your diapers while you practice gymnastics, clean your meals and bodily fluids off the floor, go grocery shopping/destroying with you, and help you reorganize the Tupperware drawer. I promise I’ll be there every night to pin you down while I read you a bedtime story, clean goodness knows what out of your hair in the bath and join you in your occasional 2am parties. Know why? ‘Cuz I love you my Little Man and I’m going to miss you.
Love Mommy,
xox
P.S. I want you to be a good boy for Oma but am also okay if you occasionally act up, you know, just to keep her on her toes.
